1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GyanRank (the "Platform"), operated by GyanRank ("we", "our", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. These terms apply to all users including institutes, teachers, students, and visitors.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

2. Platform Description

GyanRank is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) examination management platform. It provides tools for coaching institutes and educational organizations to: create and conduct online MCQ and PDF-based exams, manage student and teacher accounts, publish results and rank lists, share study materials and notes, accept student enrollment payments, and create a branded public institute page.

The platform is designed for lawful educational and assessment purposes only.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

To use GyanRank, you must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent. By using the platform, you represent that you meet these requirements.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at support@gyanrank.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. GyanRank is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering. Impersonating another person or organization is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Institute access requires a paid subscription after the 7-day free trial. Subscription plans are offered on a monthly or yearly basis. Current pricing is displayed on our Pricing page at gyanrank.com/pricing.

All payments are processed securely through Razorpay. GyanRank accepts UPI, debit/credit cards, net banking, and digital wallets. Payment details are handled by Razorpay and are subject to their terms and privacy policy.

Subscription fees are charged in advance and are generally non-refundable. See our Refund Policy for details. If you cancel your subscription, you retain access until the end of the current billing period.

We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice. Existing subscribers will be notified by email before any price changes take effect.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use GyanRank only for lawful educational purposes. The following activities are strictly prohibited:

• Uploading malicious, harmful, defamatory, or illegal content
• Attempting to hack, reverse engineer, or circumvent platform security
• Using the platform to harass, bully, or harm other users
• Creating fake accounts or impersonating others
• Sharing or reselling access to your account
• Using the platform to conduct exams on behalf of organizations you do not represent
• Automated scraping, crawling, or data extraction
• Violating any applicable laws or regulations

6. Content Ownership and Rights

Institutes and teachers retain ownership of the exam questions, study materials, and content they upload. By uploading content, you grant GyanRank a limited license to store, process, and display that content to provide the service.

GyanRank retains ownership of the platform, its code, design, and all proprietary components. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the GyanRank platform without written permission.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any content you upload, including questions sourced from textbooks or other materials.

7. Termination and Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or abuses the platform. We may do so with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the violation.

You may terminate your institute account at any time by contacting support@gyanrank.com. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any unused subscription period.

Upon termination, your access to the platform will be removed. We may retain your data for a reasonable period as required by law or for dispute resolution purposes.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

GyanRank is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GyanRank shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of GyanRank shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bihar, India.

For consumer disputes, you may also use India's online dispute resolution mechanisms as provided by applicable law.
